Rapid was born one winters morning over bacon and eggs at a Café in Papakura. Three friends and workmates decided that we could supply the best service and knowledge to hygiene cleaning of food manufacturing companies because we had something no one else had.

Paul Schoch – Managing Director

Paul has an extensive sales background ranging from retail to commercial product to commercial services and sales management. He has spent the majority of his 30-year professional career being firmly entrenched in the flooring and building services industry. Paul also holds health and safety in the highest regard just like Andrew and is our companies Health and Safety Representative. He is best known around site as the guy who says “we will do whatever others can’t or won’t do”. And he is right! We are yet to find a job which is too dirty, too high, too tight, too small or too big for us … we are the right fit every-time for every situation … we are the solution.

 

Andrew Chan – Technical Director

After 15 years of being in the facilities service industry providing cleaning solutions to major NZ Food manufacturers, Andrew knows how to clean every surface and substrate, he can access anything, anywhere, at any height and/or confined space. He has the highest regard for safety and all of our staff are NZQA qualified in Hazard ID, Elevated Work Platforms, Height Safety Advanced and Confined Space and Gas detection. Andrew is already very well known in the industry for his smart solutions, efficient techniques and his can-do attitude. His experience saves our client’s money, we work smarter and we are available around the clock, so that your production does not stop to meet your safety and audit requirements.

 

Robyn Schoch – Financial Director

After 29 years in the building and FMCG industries Robyn has the best of both industries knowledge to fall back on. Having started her career for a building service and contracts company Fire Fighting Enterprises (a James Hardie company) back in 1988 where her focus was systems, finance and cost management these skills grounded her for a fast-paced career in FMCG where she worked for large grocery manufacturers and suppliers including Arnott’s, Hutchinsons and Trident. Raw material management, manufacturing techniques, legislative requirements and logistics all lead back to building services and food manufacturing audit. She would say she is the fountain of youth … others say she is a wealth of knowledge. Robyn looks after the money, the systems and is mum to all at Rapid.
